The Lanier Advocate V Transcriber is a four-channel, four track standard cassette transcriber designed specifically for transcribing cassettes from the Advocate V Recorder. The built-in search pad allows easy access to specific locations on the cassette. Voice Separation provides clarity when more than one person is talking at a time. The optional VOR/Time Injector provides data and time display for cassettes recorded  in voice logging applications.

The Advocate V is a four-channel recorder, providing up to six hours of unattended recording time on  standard cassettes. The system gives you the option of a fully compatible transcriber. When used with the optional VOR/Time Injector, the Advocate V recorder can also record telephone and/or radio traffic - providing the date and time for each call.

Dual - allows two identical copies to me recorded simultaneously

• 3-position security key - prevents tape from being removed or operators from stopping or pausing tapes.

• Search facility - enables operators to search automatically for any tape position on the recorder.

• Record level indicators - ensures proper audio levels during recording.

• Automatic gain control - gives visual record level to ensure proper audio record level.
